Wilson-Plamegate Fate
The waiting game has started about another non-story. Who outed Valerie Plame-Wilson as a desk person with the CIA; who will be indicted?
Who cares?
The woman was not undercover except with her husband, hopefully at home.
If anyone should be indicted it should be Wilson. "Frog March" Joey boy through Chuckie Schumer’s office with a whole cadre of MSM Photographers clicking away.
Victoria Toensing’s response to the Plame affair in the Washington Post Clarifies what is happening with this investigation.
Michelle Malkin is keeping close watch on the situation.
Fox News: 9:45am Lewis "Scooter" Libby will be indicted.
Karl Rove won’t be indicted today.
Still much adieu about nothing. Valerie Plame was not mentioned in the indictment. Must be she wasn’t outed by anyone but her husband "Broadway" Joe Wilson in that famous Vanity Fair Photograph.
The Political Teen has the video of the Fitzgerald news conference.
The Wall Street Journal’s Opinion Journal has a great editorial on PlameGate:

I’m sure you’ve got great sources (your mom? your best friend), but I think I’ll believe the CIA when they say Wilson’s wife was undercover. Thanks for your ill-informed opinion, though.
This indictment is the last straw. For too long the libs and Dems have been pushing for something, anything, to hang on the Bush administration. And now, after two years, they get a “lying to a grand jury” charge. Where were these libs who want justice back when Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton lied to Congress, grand juries, et. al. back in the 90’s?
What about the lies Joe Wilson told? Aren’t they worth investigating?
President Bush should get out the pardon pen right now and end this whole, useless, partisan, hate-filled affair.
Yeah, no big deal. Perjury, obstruction of justice, false statements to a grand jury…no big deal. Fitzgerald isn’t a partisan hack and if that is the tact Republicans are going to take to spin this, they are going to be really sorry.
