Boycott Citgo (Updated)
Boycott Citgo
Bumped Up For The Good News.
Update: 7-Eleven has dumped Citgo! More on the news from WFLA.
Hat tip: Hot Air
Note: All the Citgo Stations in my area of Florida are affiliated with 7 Eleven Stores. An e-mail/ letter writing campaign to 7 Eleven in protest might be appropriate.
I just got off the phone with customer service at 7-Eleven and the representative told me that the contract with Citgo has expired and they are exploring other options. She said that they are getting complaints about Chavez’s rant at the United Nations.
Now would be a good time to call them to express your feelings about their affiliation with Chavez. The Number for customer service is 1 (800) 255-0711
Citgo is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Venezuelan Government. Any money spent at a Citgo gas station puts money in Hugo Chavez’s pockets.
Citgo sells 1.5 million gallons of gas per day in the U.S.
Here is the Citgo directory of stations here & here Pick your State or route, make a copy and be sure to avoid Chavez’s gas. Buy Mobil, Exxon, Shell any brand but Citgo.

Unfortunately Citgo goes way beyond gas stations and the occasional 7-11. They have a complete asphalt and petrochemical line of business. As for gas stations all you have to do is go to this locator and put in your zip code to get a complete listing o…

I would love to complain to Tom Thumb convenience stores management but I can’t find a web site can anyone help? Thanks Dan White
