Three Reasons Not To Vote For John McCain: George Soros, Juan Hernandez and the “Reform Institute”

John McCain has support from way too many Progressives Liberals and outright Socialists. Among many of the organizations and individuals supporting McCain’s candidacy are George Soros and Juan Hernandez as his presidential campaign Hispanic Outreach Director.
Hernandea is an open borders advocate advising McCain and employed by McCain’s Reform Institute. The McCain Campaign claims Hernandez is a volunteer. He may well be but is paid over $100,000 yearly from the institute.
Florida voters should be informed of this before casting their votes in the Florida Republican Primary on January 29th.

McCain a socialist? This about a man who has NEVER voted for a tax increase in 25 years as apublic official, this would seem to stretch the limts of credulity.
I am a carpenter here in Chicago, and though I am paid for my efforts in this feild, I volunteered for McCain’s campaign as well. So while I am copensated by my employer, it is in no way a distortion of the truth to claim to be a volunteer as well.
I also am far from a fan of Mr. Soros, but I recognize that though I disagree with him more often than not, it would be idiocy to assume he is wrong at ALL times. His vast fortune amassed in the markets clearly demonstrate that this not the case.
Sen.McCain’s meeting and working with those from the other side of the political spectrum are a sign of pragmatism that gets things done, versus idealogical purists who never accomplish ANYTHING due to the fact they ean never even reach elective office. Please keep in mind that it requires a plurality of the vote to attain office. Politically, in America the plurality of voters are neither Republican or Democrat, it is Independants who at this time are revolted by the two parties and their inability to govern.
If you lean more to conservative side of politics as I do, it would be best to u nderstand that to vote for ANY candidate other than Sen. McCain is in reality a vote for Obama or Hillary. Who will represnt us when the Democrats already control both houses of congress?

I couldn’t agree more with mark motley. John McCain is a true American patriot and will make an unbelievable President and Commander-in-Chief. I also consider myself a fairly solid conservative but am not dogmatic…and know when you have to work with others to get things done, and when you need to stand your ground on principle. John McCain can do this…in spades. Any other GOP contender will get blown away in November by either Hillary or Obama. I respect Governor Romney as a manager, but I do NOT trust him on his political views…which change according to which way the wind is blowing. With Senator McCain, you may disagree with him on this issue or that, but he is a true fiscal conservative, respects the right to life, and fought to get conservative justices (Alito/Roberts) confirmed to the Supreme Court. That, coupled with his patriotic service to his country, would make him an outstanding President. The Rush Limbaughs and Sean Hannitys of the world need to get onboard. If McCain wins Florida, they will definitely be big losers. If McCain wins the nomination and the presidency, they will be rendered somewhat irrelevant.

it would seem many pundits and self pronounced conservative radio hosts have taken a play right out the clinton hand book of dirty and smear politics.Hannity needs a crying towel his entire program is dedicated and a free pminuteolitical ad for RUDY RUDY RUDY.He reminds me of a performing seal.Rush has always been hard to ,listen to with his my way or the highway act. Levin comes across as a nutjob.I like Malkin but am going to pay more attention when I see her on tv.
I am an American and have but one vote.I know why I am voting for Mccain and could care less if some radio or tv host doesn’t agree with me. Clintons may not be the only ones to loose this election.A lot of talk radio and tv pundits are gonna have to switch their dial or get tuned out. The American people ae sick of all this crap. The minute Mccain is elected he will once again be flooded with offers for appearance from all these same Mccain Bashers.

My only problem with McCain working across the isle is that the result also favors those across the isle. This is not helping the Republican cause.
As for the conservative rating. He does vote in line often, but when he’s wrong he is terribly wrong! The rating has no measure for the level of impact when McCain opens the floodgates of bad legislation.
i support Mitt. He has gone from unknown to become the only one who has a chance to beat McCain. McCain has had the name recognition all along and it can hardly get him 30%. Everywhere Mitt goes as people get to know him, he gains polpularity quickly.
McCain can make up lies, and misconstrue what his statements reflect, but now his perceived asset of straight talk is severely compromised.

McCain has his problems, but if I have to vote for a ‘Hawk’ I’d like it to be someone who’s seen combat. Bush and Clinton were a little too eager to put our troops in harm’s way, and I think McCain would be more prudent in this area.

Yes, lets be pragmatic. Lets compromise with the socialists this year, then lets compromise with them again next year, and so on and so on. Gradually, step by step, we become a socialist nation. Just like a frog in a pot, when you heat it up slowly, he won’t jump out.
So the guys who draw lines in the sand and pronounce that “Beyond this point you will not cross.” Those guys are radicals, and the guys who want to tear down the programs that all conservatives know are garabage, well those guys are just insane reactionaries, or ideologes. Need I remind you that the only way that evil is allow to triumph in this world is when good people fail to act to stop it? Gradually, we are allowing our nation to become a socialist hell hole just like the Soviet Union, because every year we make compromises with the left wingers, who keep on moving further left.
No more.

Part of the reason why these socialists support McCain is their knowledge that not only is he sympathetic to many of their positions, but also in the general election he will be easily beaten by Hillary or Obama. At some point between now and November, the infamous McCain rage will erupt, and the electorate will realize that he is not the best candidate to serve as President. Or if not, McCain will just run out of steam, and the more vigorous Democrat will simply seize the race. For this job, the nation needs someone with the physical stamina and candlepower of Mitt Romney.
As a separate point, McCain has shown himself to be capable of dishonesty on a par with Bill Clinton. The truth regarding Mitt Romney’s position about a public timetable for withdrawal from Iraq is at http://hotair.com/archives/2008/01/27/video-mccain-grahamnesty-huckabee-continue-to-smear-romney-on-iraq/
This is exactly the OPPOSITE of what McCain accused Gov. Romney of having said!
Florida Republicans, please save us from mendacious McCain!

It’s absurd how enthusiastically right wing pundits forgive and forget the mistakes and ideological deviations from Giuliani and Romney, but condemn McCain to hell for his. Pure hipocrisy. Mitt Romney was pro-choice and in favor of gay rights as recently as 2 years ago. Mitt Romney previously condemned Reagan/Bush and proudly boasted of his being an independent at the time. Mitt Romney raised taxes over $700 million in Massachusetts. Mitt Romney passed a healthcare bill that included “government mandates”. Mitt Romney is proposing additional government spending and intervention the automobile industry and the insurance industry. Mitt Romney is as conservative as Michael Bloomberg. Get your heads out of the sand.
McCain has a decades long record as a REAL conservative. Why should he be condemned for his independence from the Republican/conservative bandwagon? From the moment Republicans retook Congress, Republicans and conservatives have steadily and undeniably turned away from conservative principals. The largest expansion in government under the Bush administration and “conservative” leadership is not conservative. Cutting taxes without the intention to control spending is not conservative. The incautious and reckless administration of the War in Iraq is not conservative. The demonizing of bipartisanship is not conservative. I think the conservative movement needs to go back and reread their history books and study Reagan and Goldwater again to rediscover real conservatism. The ideological, dogmatic, and intolerant brand of conservatism made popular by the Christian Right is destroying our party and the conservative movement.
John McCain brings not only strong conservative principals, but the character to LEAD and ACCOMPLISH. To unite our country and spread the word on conservative ideals to those who previously did not understand them.

Ron Paul is the last conservative in the race, and the only guy who has the intelligence and the personal integrity to sace America. He is the only guy that is talking about the real issues that are facing this nation. We are going bankrupt. Over the next 8 years the baby boomers are going to be retiring in mass, we are not going to be able to afford all these socialist programs, the war and to continue to finance the national debt.
If you care anything about defending this nation from the coming financial crisis which is far more dangerous than anything that this country has ever faced then, Ron Paul is the only choice.
This election is not about winning, its about defining Republicanism, the same way that Goldwater did back in the 1960s. We have to face reality now, and that reality is that we are going to lose this election, even if we nominate McCain or Romney and they win this election, conservatism still loses. Bush has single handedly destroyed the old Reagan coalition, and who ever we nominate should be an ideologue. Someone who will clearly state traditional conservatism, rather than some damned neocon who will will further muddle the concept of what conservatism is.
