The Newest New York State Governor Admits To Extramarital Affair
The New “Luv Guv” David Paterson & wife Michelle
The citizens of New York are blindsided by news of their new governor’s illicit affair. The new Governor of NY State (Democrat) David Paterson admitted to having an extramarital affair beginning in 1999 and lasting for several years. It’s alright though, his wife had an affair during this period of time too.
This is an obvious attempt to head off any new revelations of the Democrats’ tendency of succumbing to sexual scandals.
From the NY Daily News:
In a stunning revelation, both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, acknowledged in a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.
In the course of several interviews in the past few days, Paterson said he maintained a relationship for two or three years with “a woman other than my wife,” beginning in 1999.
Big spender Paterson met his concubine at the local Days Inn.
As part of that relationship, Paterson said, he and the other woman sometimes stayed at an upper West Side hotel — the Days Inn at Broadway and W. 94th St.
He said members of his Albany legislative staff often used the same hotel when they visit the city.

So you really and honestly think that “only” Democrats are susceptible to cheating on their spouses? Aside from that, considering that Gov. Patterson is legally blind, is it possible that he didn’t know that his female companion wasn’t his wife? Afterall, if you think that only Democrats cheat on their wives, does that mean that all “boobs” are the same?

Much as it pains me to say so, this is a bipartisan thing, and especially in New York.
About 20 years ago the Chief Judge of the State of new York, sol Wachtler a Republican, had to not only leave the bench for stalking a woman but did time for it in Federal prison where a disgruntled inmate stabbed him. Wachtler was thought of as a potential opponent to Mario Cuomo at the time.
So, again, much as it pains this strong partisan Republican to say so, let’s have some fun, but not too much!

Wow, we’ve sunk to a new low..confessing all of your sins as soon as you take office. I guess the new governor is trying to prevent his dirty laundry from being aired later on, so in some ways it might be a brilliant political strategy: you can take the bullets out of your opposition’s guns, so to speak.
