Are The Clintons Freeloading Again?
The Clinton Campaign has a problem paying bills. Bill and Hillary’s modus vivendi of freeloading is legendary. Now they have ignored overdue bills from her flailing Presidential campaign. Small business vendors are issuing warnings about the Campaign’s tardiness with issuing checks for monies owed. In other words, put the “cash on the barrelhead” before doing business with Hillary and Company from Politico:
Hillary Clinton’s cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months — freeing up cash for critical media buys, but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small business circles.
A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community — and anyone else who will listen — to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter.
…
Many have reservations about voting for Clinton in the primaries. It took them long enough realize what most have known about Billary. They are Grifters nothing more.
And word is getting around that Clinton’s campaign does not promptly pay those who labor to make her events look good, said an employee of the event production company Forty Two of Youngstown, Ohio.
“I feel insulted by the way that the campaign treated this company and treated us personally,” said the employee, who did not want to be named talking about a client.
The Clinton campaign paid the company $16,500 to set up a stage, press riser, sound system and backdrops at a Youngstown high school last month for a raucous union rally, where an aggressive Clinton stump speech drew thunderous applause. But the Clinton campaign has yet to pay Forty Two for two other February events and the employee said the campaign has stopped returning phone calls, e-mails and didn’t respond to a certified letter.
“We worked very hard to put together these events on a moment’s notice and do absolutely everything to a ‘t’ to make it look perfect on television for her and for her campaign,” said the employee. “Sen. Clinton talks about helping working families, people in unions and small businesses. But when it comes down to actually doing something that shows that she can back up her words with action, she fails.”
Forty Two also has done events for Obama’s campaign, which has paid its bills promptly, according to the employee. FEC records show Obama’s campaign paid the company $18,500.
Show Tyme Exhibits, another Youngstown event production company, has produced political events for years and had never had problems getting paid before Clinton, according to owner Jim Phillips.
He said he’s still waiting for a payment for setting up the sound system and stage for Clinton’s February tour of a General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio.
“It was only $607, but I’m a small guy; I could use that,” said Phillips, adding, “Everyone I can tell, I do tell about it. You tell somebody something bad about somebody, they tell ten other people.”
Both Phillips and the Forty Two employee said they voted for Clinton in Ohio’s March 4 primary, which she won handily, but regret their votes and are reluctant to work for her campaign again.
Their sentiments aren’t universal in the event production world, though.

More of the same from the most Hillary-ous comedy team to ever hold the Whitehouse. They have kept us in stitches with their witty antics since the ’90’s. No wonder SNL wanted Hillary onboard, with the comedic genius that she is. Her public skit about how NOT to run a campaign brings back visions of the Keystone Kops. Such slapstick fun! The day she is actually a SERIOUS candidate for the Presidential spot is the day I move overseas. Judging from all of her screw ups in this campaign, I don’t think I have to worry though…..she will NEVER be taken seriously after the laughingstock she has made of herself, and this nomination process. Heck I would be surprised if the DEMS don’t pass her to the Republicans so she can be openly “Republican lite” rather than hiding behind the mask of conservative DEM.
This has the most likely way Hillary will see the light and realize that for the good of the party, nation or the whole world that she will take the high road and stop the race.
This has more potential to help Hillary see the common good than the pundits and bloggers with their good advice, more than Leahy, Pelosi, Dean and whoever else. Who thinks even Edwards or Gore will stop her?
Any concession would be explained like Romney who for the good of the Nation at war did not want to help the terrorists by staying in the race (and spending more money).
Hillary plays realpolitik and wars are more often won by finances than defeat on the field.
Whilst Hillary may be just as stubborn and has the same understanding of math as Huckaby who sees her campaigning on a shoestring? She won’t be living on squirrel pie.

PS. Hey there. How are you? I added this post to my OTA weekend post, also. Enjoy the rest of this weekend, and having a fantastic week.
Um…oh yeah. Didn’t anyone cover the 2000 senatorial race for this person? She did the same thing…my how the weak at heart have forgotten (the press).
I FIND THIS ARTICLE absolutely HILARIOUS! As someone who knows about these claims of not “paying bills” … I WILL TELL YOU this… there are two companies in Ohio who have YET to force an invoice for work they performed for the HRC campaign. This article got written because of their lack of inability to answer their claims for payment and instead be “INTERVIEWED” by Obama operatives for a possible story that Mrs. Clintons campaign finances are in trouble. I can PERSONALLY tell you that her finances are just fina and this story is without merit! I guess this just fits into the rest of the uniformed and true information on here!
Dear Doug, I know how frustrating it is to have to defend one’s candidate, but haven’t you ever heard that you catch more flies with honey and not vinegar? In the first place, if you have the evidence, where are the links? We would all be willing to verify them. I, personally, remember when Hillary ate in a diner in upstate NY for her first term run for Senate. She had sevaral people with her, and she did not even leave a tip. Please do not try to challenge me on this one. I am from NY.
Another thing, there is no need to yell. (Capital letters.) People that read comments also have a decorum (generally) about them which is polite. You will be heard. You may not reach an agrement, but you at least be heard. This is unlike moveon.org. I am not going to call you any names, because you are, after all, still an American. This makes you my fellow brother.
I do believe (although I may be wrong) that of the major differences between republicans and democrats is that republicans believe the democrats policies are generally wrong. The democrats, generally speaking, think that republicans are not just wrong, they are evil for having the opinions or views which they have. Is that very fair? How can we come together on any issue if you have already made up your mind that we are evil? I know I wouldn’t consult with evil. Am I assuming the same is true with you, or am I wrong? Either way, this is not an evil question.
I hope you have a very nice week. Good day.

Dear TRM, You are so sweet. I am 5′ tall, and I have to run around in the shower to get wet (so they say, lol). Patient? Can you please send an e-mail to my brother? lol. Most of the time, these people never reply. I’ve had some very angry Muslims come to my site, and I’ve changed their tone. There’s no dialoge with a person who is so angry, especially when they believe they will not be heard.
I’ve had my episodes, though. Check out this little tidbit: Dear Muslims. My old site may take a minute to warm up, but the comments are…well…quite interesting? This was when they attacked the Pope and I had just snapped.
Hey, it happens. lol. Have a great day.
