McCain is probably doing better than that, considering the built-in pro-Obama slant of the traditional media - consider today's LA Times "Some voters see it as a win-win", first page piece in which this liberal junk (LA Times) kept magnanimously enlarging "Obama and McCain have similar positions on some once-divise issues. They're even edging closer on Iraq," etc. etc.
They're closer? Glibama quit entirely his earlier position in this matter ("refining" this is called), and this in such a shameless manner that even his most fanatic supporters are dismayed.
So, Obama and McCain are not tied - Glibama is probably slightly behind McCain and this difference will increase more and more as people realize what an opportunistic airbag he is.
