Foul Mouthed Fowler, Caught Giddy Over Hurricane Gustav, Apologizes

Former DNC Chair Donald L. Fowler

Donald L. Fowler

Another Democrat’s hypocrisy comes to light. Shines on…

The low wattage of the liberal mindset.

Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler apologized on Sunday for joking in a private conversation that the timing of Hurricane Gustav demonstrates that God is on the side of the Democrats.

“If this offended anybody, I personally apologize,” Fowler told ABC News. “It was a mistake, and it was a satirical statement made in jest. And one that I clearly don’t believe.”

Fowler was secretly recorded by the person sitting behind him while flying from Denver, Colo., to Charlotte, N.C., following the Democratic National Convention. His conversation with Rep. John Spratt, D-S.C., was anonymously posted to YouTube and highlighted by RedState.com, a conservative blog.

He then blames a rightwinger for catching him in his glee. Moron…

  1. Apology not accepted.

I’ve got relatives in NOLA, who survived Katrina and the ensuing gunfire that erupted in the streets just after.

Personally, and not just for their stakes, I’d like just a few mintues of face-to-face time with Fowler out behind the woodshed.

Why isn’t anyone outraged by the massive invasion of privacy allowed by the airlines?

Sure, prolly someone with snooping equipment on board, but why? Why is that allowed… the entire right to privacy suddenly gone?

    Where is the outrage?

McCain and Palin headed for LA, why? to man rescue boats? Why would they and their SS entourage risk getting in the way?

    Where is the outrage?

  4. McCain and Palin were personally invited to MS by the Gov. of MS. I assume that he wanted them there. And after the horrible lack of attention to that state after Katrina I can understand why. It really did take the brunt of Katrina and several towns were wiped of the map.

  5. An airplane seat is a public place, moron. There is no constitutional expectation of privacy in a public place. It’s just like somebody taking a picture of you on a public street. Where is the outrage over the complete constitutional ignorance of the Left?

  6. Ava Mae Lewis…

Snooping? On a Public air plane seat? Surely you jest.

I would guess you forget about the stalking of Virginia Bov. Allen, and the infamous “macaca’ statement.

I would underline the word ” Stalking “. That was about as contrived & low as politics could get - and it was used by the Democrats without restraint.

Fowler should get the same treatment.

  7. Ava Mae Lewis–
I hate to break this to you, sweetheart, but there IS no “right to privacy.”
There is nothing even remotely like a “right to privacy” in the Constitution, the Scriptures, the Magna Carta or the Code of Hammurabi. It was an invention created to excuse abortion.

McCain and Palin were headed for New Orleans because, oddly enough, they were scheduled to appear at the convention there. Quel surprise.

There should be outrage, but I think yours is misdirected.

  8. Quel surprise? At what convention in New Orleans were McBush and Palin appearing?

Misdirected, indeed. I know McBush loses track of how many houses he owns, whether Czechoslovakia is a country or not, where the Iraq-Pakistan border is located, which ones are the Sunnia and which are the Shias…. but he can’t tell Minnesota from Louisiana?

“Dammitalltohell, I just KNOW Minneapolis is somewhere around here. Oh, wait… am I looking for Minneapolis, or Mississippi? Where am I? What am I doing?”
