Not a Freudian slip at all. And thanks for playing the clip in context, unlike other trashy anti-Obama sites. If you listen, it’s clear that what Obama is talking about are the false rumors circulated on blogs like these of “my [Obama's] Muslim faith” (even when they know he’s not Muslim) but McBush hasn’t aided and abetted such nonsense.

If I was advising John McCain I would be all over this. Sorry I see it totally different. I always suspected he was a Muslim now I know. You have it right from the horses mouth. I cannot wait to listen to Sean Hannity on monday. I like Sean because he is one who calls it the way he sees it and don’t hold back punches.

As partisan as any in being against Obama, but I think it’s more of an indication that he is going through the motions, speaking without thinking, not listening to what is being said, almost robotic. Frankly, I’m not sure about his faith when you take into consideration that he isn’t attending church presently since he stopped attending what passed as a church. I know you don’t have to attend Sunday service to practice, but…

In saying “my Muslim faith” Obama clearly meant “the Muslim faith falsely ascribed to me”. No slip, Freudian or otherwise. And Stephanopolis didn’t correct Obama: he misunderstood Obama’s phrasing. I say this as a McCain/Palin supporter.

I’m no Obama supporter…electing him would be the worst mistake this country ever made…but there’s nothing sinister here. I understood immediately that he was saying McCain hadn’t accused him of being muslim.
There’s plenty of real issues to beat him on. Let’s not play like we’re Democrats.

How sick people can be. I guess none of you seen the crap that Sarah Palin pastor said and plus what she said. But, being black with a muslim name make you a muslim. This why we get what we get in America. This why Bush won two term and leaving this country worse then it was when Bill Clinton was President. This show how small people brain is. You will hammer a black man but when anyone speak on Sarah Palin they are sexist. Why do people speak negative of this person is it because they are racist and need ways to vote with out looking racist. My God lets be fair and balance on all candidates. My beliefs, being christian, tells me there is only one way to get to heaven…. but Obama stated in one of his interviews that there are several ways of getting to heaven and if he teaches his girls to be good and live a good life that that is ok….Now after attending the Rev. Wrights church for 2o something years,,, it would seem to me that Obama would know the true way to heaven….I have said from the first time I heard him speak… that he is a Muslim…… I think that Obama’s entire platform is socialist and people who are supporting him had better wake up and smell the last roses they will smell if he is elected….JUST LISTEN TO THE MAN…

Yeah, I agree nothing to see here really, people sometimes misspeak and especially when you are doing interview after interview I’m sure it can happen.
lsewell, I sure hope you don’t speak like you write, I thought we had wiped out the ebonic plague. If you want people to take you seriously. learn to write in a proper, coherent manner. Barak’s skin color has nothing to do with why I won’t vote for him, his associations, lack of experience and communist ideology has everything to do with it however.
