“ Obama gets The McCain beat down in debate”

No doubt Obama camp is happy they kept lowering expectations for his debate performance because Obama got his clock cleaned by John McCain who kept the young inexperienced candidate looking immature and childish talking in circles. All Obama could do was interrupt with bogus claims of “lying” and looks of frustration and despair. (Not a good performer, unless someone writes a pre-written speech for Obama to study or read on teleprompter) On Iraq and all else, Obama keeps looking to the past instead of the future? Where’s the change Obama? McCain understands the next president has to look to the future and secure not only victory but also stabilizing a fledgling democracy. Obama kept up his all season stupid rhetoric, the war was wrong, the war is wrong, I’m black that makes me qualified to be president!

Especially since he stupidly picked 30 years in Washington, pro war supporter Biden (whose son is a lobbyist) as VP. Slapping the face of 18 million democratic voters, who David Axelrod said he don’t need. Again proves Obama is unstable and does not have the experience to make important decisions or have control over this great country.

Obama said seven times or more that he agreed with McCain. That’s good for McCain because when McCain is President Obama can work with him to get needed reforms through a failed Congress. McCain displayed a thorough knowledge of world affairs. Obama did not! And talked in circles and really had no coherent thoughts other than his main talking points from his pre-written campaign speech.

Bottom line; Obama got “ The McCain beat down” only because of the lowered expectations Obama just barely got across the finish line. Obama definitely finished dead last. No surprise we all know Obama is not good on his feet, as Hillary wiped the floor with him 20 plus times! Bottom line McCain had a great night while Obama is going home licking his wounds. Of course you can expect to hear the tabloid cable news , better known as Obama News Networks CNN & MSNBC media made fairy tales, that he was great, too bad for CNN that voters finally realized these two Obama news networks are not very truthful and bias. They offer voters looking for facts…NOTHING…

With just 38 days left until the US electorate votes — these debates still won’t move McCain-Palin’s poll numbers every much.

The darkening clouds, the howling winds and gathering storms of economic collapse is what’s focusing the hearts and minds of the American voter.

Today’s Wall Street Journal reprinted a co-signed letter to Congress penned by Alan Greenspan and George Shultz.

    http://blogs.wsj.com

    quote:

[.. The U.S. economy is in the grip of the most severe financial crisis since the Great Depression.

Even highly credit-worthy businesses are paying unprecedented premiums for borrowing.

A large fraction of businesses are shut out of the credit market altogether.

Past experience with financial crises shows that overall economic activity contracts soon after the crisis unless swift corrective action alleviates the crisis.

Unemployment rises, employment falls, the nation’s production of goods and services declines, and consumers’ purchasing power diminishes.

At worst, as in the Depression, the economy collapses. ..]

    ——–

How this Republican Administration (generally supported by the McCain-Palin ticket) brought the world’s greatest economy in history, to our current state of ruinous, catastrophic, disastrous results - beggars belief.

Some sort of economy recovery was thought to begin mid 2009 — it looks more like early 2010 to 2011.

    …that’s becuase a…..

….Bloomberg Analyst writes: The $700 Billion Bailout Could Balloon to $5 Trillion

    http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2008/20080926110602.aspx

Five Trillion Dollars…..to bail out Wall Street derivative and credit-swaps.

The debates are indeed important to the political process, but it’s the gathering storm on the near horizon is what’s focusing the voter’s mind for the next 38 days.

  4. Joe Says:

Actually, almost every poll and study done so far on the debate calls it a tie or an Obama win. The reason some conservatives think the media is liberally biased is because you are stuck in your ways and can’t deal with someone who disagrees with you without villainizing them. I just don’t get it. Republicans have had the presidency for 8 years and had the congress for 6 of those 8 years and we are in a handful of messes. All of the things McCain talks about we’ve already been doing for 8+ years and they are failing. At what point can you conservatives be willing to try something else? You are as stubborn and blind as Bush and you are losing independent support.

  5. s.b. Says:

Obama lost the debate when he had to look down to read the soldiers name during the “i gotta bracelete too” moment. Doesn’t he know the dead soldiers name? Doesn’t he wear the bracelete “everyday”?

  6. Bob Says:

“Actually, almost every poll and study done so far on the debate calls it a tie or an Obama win’

See the Drudge poll where people vote.
p.s. Obama has “a bracelet too” (what a teenage girl-like response)

  7. ema Says:

Awww!! Poor Obama, you meanies!! lol! Well, McCain did offer to give him more time, I bet he wishes he had done the debate later like McCain had wanted.

  8. BillyTheSmartGuy Says:

Am i the only person who missed Obama use the word “orgy?” That may have been the most hilarious thing i’ve ever heard a politician say.

Obama got hammered and the left is very scared now. They were hoping all the “cramming” student Obama did this past week would help him seem like he had a grasp on the issues. Clearly he made at BEST a C- on his examination with his Master, John McCain.

Expect a dramatic turnaround in the polls. Bringing it back to a 50/50 tie again. If Palin performs well and can remove the doubts of the independents who left McCain and went back undecided (people don’t see in the polls that Obama has gained “0″ more votes, only McCain lost some) then i suspect a McCain edge as he goes into the 2nd Debate. I think it will be like Reagan’s second debate. He will come out firing and explaining how his plan actually helps the middle class and how Obama’s plan will bankrupt the country.

Finally, CNN actually says McCain won the vote with independents. They just lie on the article. If people would actually read the article they would see that 41% of the people were Democrats and only 27% are Republicans. That is a 14% advantage that Obama got to start with. The 30% of Independants gave only 10% of their support to Obama and 12% to McCain. That is a very good sign for the Right. I’d be scared to be on the left.

The key question now is if Palin can get that other 8%. She has a lot of pressure but Biden is a loose cannon and will not be prepared for his looming defeat.

  9. BillyTheSmartGuy Says:

Finally, basically every economist agrees that the current “crisis” has NOTHING to do with Bush. I really feel sorry for Bush. Clinton gave him so much disaster that the fact we are doing as good as we are is amazing.

Every economist says this started showing itself in 1999 but no one made a big deal out of it. I found it quite funny to hear Obama mention the sub-prime housing crisis and try and blame it on the right. It was the crazy left who believes that every American is entitled to a house and their push for that led to this failure. If irresponsible people would have simply paid their bills instead of blowing money on beer, gambling, and lotto tickets then this would have never happened.

To hear any left person blame this on a right person is hilarious to say the least. Bush inherited poor national security and an economy that was going into recession the day he took office. The fact that we are still here without another 9/11 and that the economy had grown so much as it had before this bubble burst (Bush’s unemployment rates were way lower on average than Clinton’s) is remarkable.

When history looks back at 2001-2009 then it will say what i just said. Bush inherited problems and against popular opinion took the right course and made the 2020+ generation safer because of it.

  10. Col.Smeag Says:

    Overnight Zogby Poll
    McCain %46.8
    Obama %43.4

thats a a big shift so much for the Debates not helping McCain. Huh Psygone?

so why Zogby isn’t used anymore?

It is unbelievable to me that the best McCain’s camp can do to sin this debate is “look how many times Obama tried to point out the places where they agreed.” Yes he truly is a horribly agreeable bastard!

    WTF??

I’m telling you this was Kennedy/Nixon and BIG TIME. What was up with McCain’s nasty, dismissive tone throughout the debate….and the fact that he would not even LOOK AT his opponent looked SO bad. I mean that’s Job Interview 101, don’t smirk and look away the whole time.

  13. geevill Says:

    Katie,

McCain wasn’t speaking to Obama. Presidential debate 101 -don’t brag about a bracelet if you don’t know the man’s name.

MILWAUKEE - The mother of a Wisconsin soldier who died in Oh sorry he didn’t have his name worked into a rehearsed self-serving monologue like McWarMonger!

btw the mom of the soldier in Obama’s bracelet was happy that he was mentioned

Iraq says she was “ecstatic” during Friday’s debate when

Senator Barack Obama mentioned the bracelet she gave him in honor of her son.

Tracy Jopek of Merrill told The Associated Press on Sunday she was honored that he remembered Sgt. Ryan David Jopek, who was killed in 2006 by a roadside bomb.

She criticized Internet reports that suggested Obama exploited her son for political purposes.
